Today, February 12, 2024, as part of the incubation center opening ceremony in collaboration with BSNL at Avanthi Engineering College, Thagarapuvalasa, the following guests expressed their views. The Chief Guest Sri.G.Adam, Principal General Manager, BSNL, Visakhapatnam explained how the BSNL Incubation Centre has played a vital role in skill development. This is India's second BSNL incubation facility. A MOU signed between Avanti Institute of Engineering and Technology, Tagarapuvalasa and BSNL. Use this BSNL incubation center for hands-on training for better placement. Guest of Honour Dr.M.Satya Prasad, DGM, Visakhapatnam said that India currently manufactures mobile components using TCS, CDAC. All students should come up with innovative ideas. Special Guest Shri B.S.Srinivasa Rao, AGM, BSNL, Visakhapatnam said that all the students should develop as entrepreneurs to reduce unemployability. Dr. B. Murali Krishna, principal of the college, said the incubation centre is used to bridge the gap between academics and industry. Our college chairman, Sri. M. Srinivasa Rao, said that it is proud to work with BSNL to set up an incubation centre. Students who have a rural background can utilize this opportunity to gain practical knowledge to start their own start-ups. Industrial visits are planned from time to time to make students aware of industrial needs. College Director Dr. A.Chandrasekhar said that according to the demand in industries, students can innovate and implement their ideas in the incubation centre.
