Dr. Janmenjoy Nayak (Senior Member, IEEE) was born in Balasore, Odisha, India, in 1987. He received his PhD. degree in computer science and engineering from the Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology, in 2017. He received his Post-Doc. from Indian Statistical Institute, Bangalore in 2022. He was Awarded as Best Researcher of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada (JNTUK) for the AY-2018-19, Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh. He has published more than 220 research papers in various reputed peer-reviewed referred journals, international conferences, and book chapters. He has edited 26 books from various publishers, such as Elsevier and Springer. His areas of interests include data mining, nature inspired algorithms, and soft computing. Dr. Nayak is a Regular Member of IEEE and a Life Member of some of the reputed societies, like CSI India. He has been serving as a Guest Editor for various journal special issues from Elsevier, Springer, and Inderscience. He has served as a Volume Editor of Series International Conference on Computational Intelligence in Data Mining, Computational Intelligence in Pattern Recognition, and so on. He is serving as an Associate Editor for IEEE Access. He is currently working as an Assistant Professor with the Department of Computer Science, Maharaja Sriram Chandra Bhanja Deo (MSCB) University, Mayurbhanj, Odisha.
