Azad Ka Amrita Mahotsava Program:

Avanthi Institute of Engineering and Technology, Research and Academy Ravada and College of Pharmacy organized an Azad Ka Amrita Mahotsava program on the occasion of 75 years of India's independence at the call of Hon'ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Avanti students will take out a rally with Jai Jawan Jai Kisan, Vandematram and Bharat Mata Ki Jai slogans on the beach road about 2 kilometers from Visakhapatnam RK Beach Kali Mata Gudi. On the call of Gouravaniya State Chief Minister Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy, former Ministers Mr. Avanti With the encouragement of Mr. Srinivasa Rao, this program was conducted smoothly. On this occasion, every student resolved to do their best for the development of the country. In this rally, Principal Dr.S.N.V. Ganesh, Principal Dr. Govinda Rao expressed his heartfelt thanks to the family members of Avanti. In this program pharmacy principal Dr.M.v.v. Raju Garu, Degree Principal Rama Krishna Garu, Director Dr.A. Chandra Shekhar Garu and Dr. Ragava Rao Garu, Department Heads, Teachers, NSS PROGRAMME OFFICERS S. Sharif garu and coordinators participated.The management of Avanti educational institutes Ms. Gyaneshwari garu, Dr. Priyanka garu, Mr. Shravan Kumar garu, Mr. Siva Nandish garu congratulated for successfully conducting the program.

The NSS unit was established in the year 2008, keeping in view that the engineering education basically is involved with the social responsibility towards the benefit of mankind. The NSS unit has organized various activities like door to door campaign for spreading out the importance of education, plantations, blood donations, AIDS awareness program. The NSS team of Avanthi has adopted the nearby Gunthapally village, Hayath Nagar Mandal, R.R.Dist. and conducted clean and green program successfully including plantations, educating rural children, training rural youth for self-employment and many more. In future the aim of the unit is to make a modern technical village.


Our college encourages the students to exhibit their latent talents and also encourages them to participate in different competitions and the winners will be suitably rewarded by the management. The management is implementing a scheme merit prizes & attendance prizes with aim of motivating the students achieve greater academic Excellency.

NSS Activity by Avanthi Sankalp – DLIDES Club :
Awareness Program on PCOD

An awareness session on Polycystic Ovarian Disease (PCOD) was conducted by the students of the CSE–DS and AI & ML departments under the NSS unit and the DLIDES Club of Avanthi Institute of Engineering and Technology.
This initiative aimed to shed light on the growing health challenges related to PCOD, especially among young women. Our students actively participated in educating their peers about the causes, symptoms, and preventive measures of PCOD, recognizing that many students today are silently facing these issues.
Such awareness programs empower students with knowledge and promote healthier lifestyles. Kudos to our volunteers for contributing to this meaningful cause!

Mega Blood Donation Camp at Avanti Institute of Engineering and Technology :

A grand blood donation camp was successfully organized today at Tagarapuvalasa Avanti Institute of Engineering and Technology, jointly hosted by the Avanti Educational Institutions NSS Team, Visakha Brahma Kumaris, and NTR Blood Bank. The event was inaugurated by Former Minister and Avanti Educational Institutions Chairman, Mr. Muttamshetti Srinivasarao, along with Sister Shiv Leela Jyoti from the Brahma Kumaris Service Center, who lit the ceremonial lamp to commence the program. Over 300 volunteers participated in the camp, contributing to the noble cause of saving lives through blood donation. Mr. Srinivasarao emphasized Avanti Institute’s commitment to social service alongside education, sports, and placements, highlighting that 16 mega blood donation camps have been held so far. He encouraged youth participation, underscoring the life-saving importance and health benefits of donating blood. Sister Shiv Leela spoke on the occasion of Universal Brotherhood Day, appreciating the collaboration with NTR Blood Bank, which has organized over 1,800 camps and helped 400,000 people. She encouraged students to practice meditation and divine remembrance for mental peace and discipline. Certificates were awarded to donors by Mr. Srinivasarao and Sister Shiv Leela. Avanti Educational Institutions also felicitated NTR Blood Bank and the Brahma Kumari Service Center sisters for their dedicated service. The program was graced by Principal Murali Krishna, Director Chandra Sekhar, Dr. Poorna Nagasri of Parmashi College, NSS Team Professor Dr. Sharif, H.O.D. Kola Chandra Sekhar, A.O. Santosh, and other dignitaries.




Awareness Program on International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking :

Avanthi Engineering and Pharmacy College organized an awareness program on International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking. The event, led by Dr. Venugopal Reddy, MBBS Physician, and Circle Inspector Sri Durga, aimed to educate students about the dangers of drug abuse and its impact on society.



The program emphasized the importance of stopping drug use to save individuals and society. Students were sensitized to protect the youth from the menace of drugs. The event was jointly organized by Avanti NSS Unit and Red Cross, and was attended by Principal Dr. B. Muralikrishna, NSS Program Officer Dr. Sharif, faculty members, and students.

Swach Andhra Activity :

NSS Unit Initiative: Swachh Andhra
Under the guidance of the Government of Andhra Pradesh, our NSS unit has taken up the initiative to conduct Swachh Andhra activities every 3rd Saturday. As part of this initiative, we organized a program with the theme "Source and Resource" focusing on the proper segregation of waste into different dustbins:

  • Waste dustbin
  • Dry dustbin
  • Hazardous waste dustbin
Our enthusiastic NSS volunteers visited the Bhimili Beach and collected waste from the beach and surrounding areas. This effort aims to contribute to a cleaner and greener Andhra Pradesh.

Blood Donations :

International Voters' Day:

On the occasion of International Voters' Day, we organized a series of engaging activities to promote democratic values. Our events included a Voters' Pledge, a Quiz Competition, and an Art Competition. Additionally, we conducted a rally at Chppada Village to spread awareness about the importance of voting. These initiatives aimed to inspire responsible citizenship and electoral participation among our community.
