About Program
The CSE - Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning department was established with B.Tech Program in 2020 with intake of 240 students and this was increased to 120 students in 2022-2023. Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) are the demanded technologies in the industry for design and development of intelligent systems. Government of India is focusing on boosting AI sector in India for extending its applications to various initiatives viz., smart cities, precision agriculture, healthcare etc. The B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering program with specialization in Artificial Intelligence and Machine learning program is intended at studying, designing, developing, implementing, support and management of computer-based information systems. This specialization will enable the student to design and develop various intelligent systems with cutting edge technology courses viz., artificial intelligence, machine learning, computer vision, robotics, mobile application development, deep learning and natural language processing etc. The program will nurture the student skills in AI and ML to provide the scalable solutions for the industry technological problems. The undergraduates of this program go on to become Machine Learning Engineer, Machine Learning Research Engineer, Artificial Intelligence Research Engineer, Big data Scientist and Robotics Professional etc.

PO2: Problem Analysis: Identify, formulate, research literature, and analyze complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of Mathematics, Natural Sciences, and Engineering Sciences.
PO3: Design/Development of Solutions: Design solutions for complex engineering problems and design system components or processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate consideration for the public health and safety, and the cultural, societal, and environmental considerations.

A 15-Day Workshop on Full Stack Using Python is being organized by the Dept. of CSE – AI&ML, DS at Avanthi Institute of Engineering & Technology from 02–09–2025 to 17–09–2025 at IAB 2, 1:00 PM–4:30 PM. Conducted in association with HMEIS Solution Pvt. Ltd., the workshop covers frontend, backend, database, and deployment. The session is led by Mr. Hirawat Dinesh Kumar (CEO, HMEIS) for II-year CSE (AI&ML, DS) students under the guidance of Mrs. P. Sri Lakshmi, Convener & HOD.
Workshop on Cyber Security is being organized exclusively for III Year CSM students. The session will be led by Mr. Sai Satish, Chief Executive Officer of Indian Servers and President of the AIMER Society, who will serve as the Chief Guest and Resource Person for the event. The workshop is being convened under the guidance of Mrs. P. Sri Lakshmi, Head of the Department – CSE (AI&ML, DS) and Head – CRT. This initiative aims to enhance students' awareness and understanding of key concepts in cybersecurity, including ethical hacking and the latest developments in digital security. Details regarding the date, time, and venue will be communicated shortly. All eligible students are strongly encouraged to attend and make the most of this valuable learning opportunity. Participation is highly recommended.
