Avanthi Educational Society was founded in 1991 by M. Srinivasa Rao as the chairperson, from which Avanthi Institute of Engineering and Technology was established in 2005.
Over the past 18 years, Avanthi Institute of Engineering and Technology has been engaged in providing quality education for the future generations of engineers. AIET was started with four B. Tech programmes (ECE, CSE, EEE, and Mechanical) with an intake of 240, today it has emerged as a leading institution with more than 828 students in five CSE, ECE, EEE, Civil, and Mechanical undergraduate programmes, five M.Tech programmes and MBA.
With an unparalleled infrastructure and state-of-art facilities, outstanding academic results and achievements in sports and NSS, the institution provides students with a strong foundation to pursue their engineering dreams and professional aspirations.
The institution is NAAC accredited with a 3.00 on a four-point scale at B++ grade, and is permanently affiliated to JNTU Kakinada.

Industrial Institute Interaction Cell (IIC) injects practical exposure and general relationship with industry for which it signed 20 MoUs with the best institutions including companies like Infosys, TCS, Amazon, Pepsi and other organizations.
