The Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Avanthi Institute of Engineering and Technology (Autonomous), Tagarapuvalasa, is recognized by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University-Gurujada-Vizianagaram (JNTU-GV), Vizianagaram, as a Research Centre.

The Research Centre of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Avanthi Institute of Engineering and Technology (Autonomous), Tagarapuvalasa, received renewed recognition from JNTU-GV, Vizianagaram, for the academic years 2026–27 & 2027–28.

The Research Centre Recognition/Allotment Letter was received at JNTU-GV in the presence of Prof. V. V. Subba Rao, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, JNTU-GV, and Dr. G. Swami Naidu, Director, Research & Development, JNTU-GV, along with Dr. Gandi Satyanarayana, Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, and Dr. Baratam Murali Krishna, Principal, Avanthi Institute of Engineering and Technology (Autonomous). The Research Centre recognition/allotment was granted by the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor and the Director, Research & Development.
